A Businessman’s Right Hand, the PlayBook

Since the advent of fourth-generation technology in the early twenty-first century, common people have been using these devices, which include both smart phones and personal computer tablets to keep in touch with old friends and family. People have also been using these same devices to entertain themselves, while on the run, and to shop for all types of things imaginable ranging from groceries to large high-definition televisions. Fourth generation technology has certainly changed many people’s daily lives for the better. However, this technology was not created solely for people’s enjoyment and convenience. RIM, the makers of the BlackBerry product line, as well as other manufacturers of fourth-generation devices have been providing corporate and small business leaders with a unique variety of fourth-generation business solutions, since the late 1990s. One of the latest variations on the personal computer tablet to enter the market is RIMS BlackBerry PlayBook. This type of fourth-generation device, like the famous smart phone, functions thanks to the development of uniquely designed computer programs, which are specifically meant to operate on fourth-generation devices. Each one of these computer programs is different from one brand of device to the next.

For example, the PlayBook operates on a system that is called the BlackBerry tablet os. This system, which was specifically designed for the PlayBook will allow subscribers to have access to BlackBerry’s exclusive e-mail service, and eventually to their Instant Messenger application. Furthermore, the PlayBook is equipped with two separate cameras, which allow users to take and save photos or videos, while also allowing the operator to engage in video chat. This feature alone would make the PlayBook a wonderful addition to any business’s inventory, and because of the increased processor speed, employees are sure to remain productive, even when away from the office.

One of the best features that is associated with not only the BlackBerry PlayBook, but also with any other fourth-generation BlackBerry device or accessory is BlackBerry support. This feature allows for direct contact between customers who are experiencing technical problems, and the RIM’s BlackBerry experts. Furthermore, the customer need not worry about long waits, because RIM has provided an online technological supports center, which contains lists of frequently asked PlayBook questions, and Internet links to the proper answers and explanations.

Based on this information, it is obvious to any business can benefit from equipping its managers and employees with the BlackBerry PlayBook as well as any other type of BlackBerry devices.
