T-Mobile’s New Release, the BlackBerry 9900

T-Mobile has done it again. Releasing smart phones one after the other, this time it has a particularly impressive phone - the all new BlackBerry Bold 9900 which also goes by the name of the BlackBerry Dakota. This particular phone has been talked about by many, with many sneak peek previews of the specifications and the look being leaked onto various websites. Many avid users of the BlackBerry have thus been waiting for the release of this phone with bated breath, as they wait eagerly to be the first to flash it around their circles. While many may, of course, want the phone to be sold as cheaply as possible, most had to keep the wanting to themselves as the BlackBerry 9900 price, following its release by T-Mobile, was pretty steep. It pays to be the first to own a flashy phone, but you have to pay for it first.

This new phone from T-Mobile is bound to give the android and iOS platform phones a run for their money. The sleek design of the phone will definitely make it a favorite of many all over the globe. The downside, however, according to T-Mobile, is that while the BlackBerry OS 7 embedded within the phone is a significant improvement over its predecessors, it still hasn’t quite lived up to the android and iOS apps’ standards. Sure, the phone boasts unique applications, but apparently RIM will have to go back to the drawing board for a powerful comeback against these two platforms.

T-Mobile promises though that this phone will simply not be a disappointment. While the recent new releases of the BlackBerry haven’t been too eye catching, this particular phone will ruffle more than a few feathers amongst its competitors. The screen, in particular, is very sleek and satisfyingly large. At 2.8 inches, the screen will hardly disappoint. Its resolution however is even more impressive, offering a very sharp picture of 640 by 480 pixels. T-Mobile placed this BlackBerry phone amongst the new breed of very high speed internet 4G phones. The browsing speed on the OS 7 is very much improved over the previous versions; and it is not just the browsing speed, but this particular phone has much faster response and processing than the older BlackBerry phones.

Though the upfront price of the Dakota is not the cheapest around, the phone is the fastest smart phone BlackBerry to date and thus it could be considered reasonable.

The Difference between BlackBerry Bold 9900 and BlackBerry Bold 9780

Generally speaking, the BlackBerry Bold 9900 has been very popular ever since it has been released and its users from all around the globe report that it is flawless. What this means is that BlackBerry have taken all previous models and transformed their down sides to plus sides, taking into consideration each and every possible remark users had about the previous BlackBerry models. The BlackBerry Bold 9780 has never been as popular as the Bold 9900, even though the two phones look pretty much the same. The BlackBerry 9900 price is something that could have affected its popularity in a bad way but, owing to the fact that every BlackBerry is expensive, this didn’t play an important role.

When the two phones are put side by side, there aren’t many significant differences between them. They both have a typical BlackBerry look and feel to them, as this feature is something that BlackBerry is very proud of. Almost all BlackBerry phones have the same design, with only a few exceptions to the rule. These exceptions were not very popular with BlackBerry users, as these people had really grown to love the classic BlackBerry beauty and elegance.

Aside from the physical appearance, there is a big difference in the displays of these two phones. The Bold 9780 has a slightly bigger display, but the Bold 9900 has a touch screen which is lacking in the previous model. Also, navigation and user friendliness is at a much higher level with the Bold 9900, although this is not to say that the Bold 9780 is bad in this field.

These two phones have a lot of similarities, but they also have a lot of differences, especially where their performance is concerned. The Bold 9900 is a much faster phone, with a processor which is twice as powerful and with more RAM memory. This means that everything you decide to do will be much faster with the Bold 9900. Aside from this, the main difference between these two phones is the operating system, as the OS of the Bold 9900 has been improved significantly.

When we take a look at both of these phones, it is easy to say that the Bold 9900 is a much better phone, as it is an upgraded version of the Bold 9780; and this is also expected from the soon to be released BlackBerry Dakota.

Expecting the Famous BlackBerry Dakota

Whenever there is talk of new phones from any company, especially a company as popular as BlackBerry, high-tech enthusiasts all around the world literally do everything in their power to find as much information on these phone models as humanly possible. People like being the first to hear about these things and the BlackBerry Dakota will surely be one of the most popular BlackBerry phones ever – if we take into consideration all the commotion related to this phone.

As with any other BlackBerry phone, the Dakota will have to be a pretty much perfect mobile phone if it is intended to beat its little brother, the BlackBerry Bold 9900. This can be concluded from the fact that the Bold 9900 is hugely popular, with very few, if any, bad reviews from its users. Generally speaking, all BlackBerry phones ever made have been very good and extremely popular, and the Dakota will have to be even better than all the previous models in order to live up to the BlackBerry reputation. Also, the BlackBerry 9900 price was a bit of a problem for some users and there is speculation that the Dakota will have the same problem.

When it comes to the actual features of the phone, it can be said that it will aesthetically resemble the BlackBerry Bold series, but it will be a mobile phone with much, much better features and with an enhanced user experience. Aside from this, the BlackBerry Dakota will also be much slimmer than previous BlackBerry models, making it unique in every way.

The Dakota will have a 2.8 inch VGA capacitive touch screen with a 640 x 480 pixel resolution, which are very good numbers for a business mobile phone. Apart from this, the phone will have 4 GB of built in memory and 768 MB of RAM, which will make the Dakota the quickest BlackBerry phone ever to be released. The camera of the BlackBerry Dakota is something new for BlackBerry, as it is a 5 megapixel monster, with a flash, HD recording and image stabilization feature - all of which were taken from the BlackBerry Bold 9900. Bluetooth, USB port, Wi-Fi, 3G, magnetometer, accelerometer, proximity sensor, QWERTY keyboard – the Dakota will apparently have all of these features, which will really make it an extremely popular and in demand phone as soon as it hits the market all over the world and will probably create a BlackBerry Dakota frenzy.

BlackBerry Dakota - A Great Effort from RIM

The BlackBerry Dakota, a masterpiece straight from the RIM engineers, is a must have for any lover of the BlackBerry. Looking at this phone from your ordinary smart phone view that covers the basic smart phone capabilities will be very wrong indeed. Even long before its release, this phone was the talk of the globe for quite a while. Also known as the BlackBerry Bold 9900, a quick look into the phone will reveal the unparalleled level of expertise that went into its creation. While some will argue that the BlackBerry 9900 price is not the humblest out there, it is a good phone that deserves credit.

What exactly is so special about this particular phone? The answer is loads and loads of stuff. First off, the phone has killer looks. The people at RIM really outdid themselves on this one. While tons of people have fallen hard for the BlackBerry line of smart phones, particularly because of their high score in the looks department, this one will simply knock them dead. It features a black surface with a huge touch screen that complements the whole phone. It has a very stylish shape. Surprisingly, it’s actually more beautiful on the inside.

The phone has amazing specifications. A QC 8655 processor running at a speed of 1.2GHz cancels out speed as a problem in this phone. It will run satisfyingly fast and get your desired operations done in record time. It also features a 2.8-inch 640 x 480 resolution touch screen display which is simply an add on to the full BlackBerry QWERTY keypad that is the hallmark of the BlackBerry phone. The dual means of accessing the phone will give pure joy to the owner, as it reduces the monotony of having to work on buttons the whole day, or having to sustain accuracy on the touch screen. The phone also possesses an eye-catching memory, featuring 8GB of internal storage memory coupled with a micro SD slot for memory, upgradable up to 32 GB. A 768 MB RAM reduces the chances of your phone hanging as a result of memory use. Also present is a pretty standard 5MP camera that is quite the norm with the smart phones of the modern age. This camera, however, is only standard when it comes to the smart phone. Other phones have a camera that doesn’t boast of as much resolution.

The BlackBerry Dakota is pure beauty, both outside and inside.
